Must have: a spring jacket! But you could never guess where it’s from…

Sun is out and so am I! 😉
Isn’t feeling the sun on your face such an amazing feeling? Summer I am so ready for you! 😀 But because it’s only spring, and I live in Belgium, I needed a light jacket to wear when it’s still a bit chilly. And as you can see I found the perfect one! But: you’ll never ever guess where it’s from… 😉

That’s right, Damart! 😉 They have a reputation of being only for “older people”, nevertheless they actually have quite a few pretty stylish items you can wear at any age. And this jacket is proof, isn’t it beautiful?!
At a press-event a few weeks ago I met a wonderful lady from Damart who was presenting the new collection to us, and I immediately fell in love with this jacket. To be honest I couldn’t believe that Damart had such a beautiful collection…

Because of the floral print I chose simple items to create an outfit.
In this case it was an easy task, just a simple white top and jeans and the look is complete.
Because of the pink pastel that matches the colors in the jacket, this Furla bag is the perfect one!
And of course the golden chain matches my golden Komono watch 😉

Top – Mango | Jeans – Stradivarius | Sneakers – Nike | Bag – Furla | watch – Komono

So as you can see a visit to Damart when you’re out shopping is definitely worth the while 😉
What do you think about this look? Are you as surprised as I was? Will you visit Damart some time?
Let me know! 😉

Life without Passion(ata) is unforgivable

“Life without passion is unforgivable” – P.Diddy
That’s one of my favorite quotes! But in this case I’m talking about the brand Passionata 😉
Even though I’m not skinny, I feel it’s every woman’s right to be a Passionista: wear beautiful lingerie and feel good in it. And I’m totally in love with their new collection!
I have 2 new beautiful sets of lingerie and today I’d like to show them to you.
(Posing in lingerie is a big step for me so please don’t be too judgmental 😉 )

I love lace, especially for lingerie. I think it’s always that extra bit more sexy and luxurious 😉 don’t you?
This set is called “Blossom” and I chose the color Ivory. I also love that it has that extra bit of lace underneath the breasts, it covers up a bit of my tummy hihi 😉
Blossom balconette bra – Ivory
Blossom sexy shorty – Ivory

The second set is called Delicacy and is actually my first bralette ever! Because of my “big boobs” it isn’t really easy to find a bralette that fits and supports. 😉 Again with a lace detail, this time in the middle and in black.
Delicacy Bralette – black
Delicacy briefs – black

Make sure to check out the entire new Passionata spring/summer collection because it’s playful, sexy, fun & full of color. Single or in a relationship, perfect body or not: I encourage everyone to be a Passionista!

The perfect tutu-outfit for NYE

I hope everyone enjoyed Christmas as much as I did! I’ve spend a lovely time with my family and friends and received some amazing gifts. #blessed
With “part one” of the Holidays over, it’s time to look forward to new year’s eve 😉
I’ve been looking forward to sharing my NYE outfit with you for weeks now!

As you might have noticed I’m a real tutu-lover! I found the perfect black tutu at Tutu Shop. It’s an online shop but they have a pop-up shop at Wijnegem Shopping Center at the moment. For the girls living in Antwerp, make sure to stop by, it’s like walking into tutu heaven 😀
This midi length tutu is made of several layers of high quality fabrics and it’s so comfortable to wear!

I thought for NYE I could spice it up a little 😉
So I made this look with a black lace body and leather jacket, both from h&m.
Nothing wrong with a sexy outfit while dancing the night away, right? 😉

I really love this outfit! I found the perfect shoes to wear underneath at CKS. It’s one of my favorite Belgian brands and I was crushing over these shoes for a long time already 😀 So I decided to buy them as an early Christmas present for myself 😉

How do you like this outfit?
Would you wear it?
And do you love tutu’s just as much as I do?
Special thanks to Isabelle from Tutu Shop!

PS: don’t forget to have fun! Tutu’s are great for twirling 😉
Let’s dance the night away on NYE! See you next year 😉

These brogues are made for walking…

helloI have this thing with shoes… as you might have noticed 😉
Thanks to Nelson Schoenen I now have these beautiful brogues added to my collection!

In my previous blog post about restyling the professional look you’ve already seen these beauties pass by. Not only are they a perfect replacement for heels at work, they are also great to create a casual look. Wear them with jeans or even with a dress, everything is possible and don’t forget: comfortable 😉
These brogues are from the brand Gabor. To be honest to me this brand had a bit of an old fashioned reputation…
But to the contrary this brand is very hip and trendy when I took a closer look!

The great thing about Gabor is that you buy a high quality trendy shoe. Brogues tend to be very narrow when it comes to fitting and if the materials aren’t right your feet will hurt instantly. Been there, done that… Thanks to the qualitative materials, good sole and great fitting my feet didn’t hurt at all when I started wearing these.
I would strongly advise you to buy these shoes half a size up. Normally I wear a 38 (EU size) but these are a 38,5.

I got these one from Nelson Schoenen. I already knew them because they have a store in Breda (Holland) where I go shopping a lot 😉 My best friend even bought her wedding shoes there!
It was the first time I tried their web shop and I honestly must say it was a great experience. When it comes to customer service our Dutch neighbors know how to treat their clients. And they even have their own store brand of shoes which are stylish and affordable. So if you’re looking to shop (offline or online) Nelson Schoenen is your go-to store.

Seems I’ve been living in these shoes, haha! 😉
Do you like brogues? And how do you style them?

Zalando creative content icon: the new professional look

This is my entry for the Zalando Creative Content Icon Award.
I thought about what I could send in, and what reflects me and my life.
Since July I have a new job in human resources and as a girl on sneakers I’m confronted with the conservative “office clothing style”. Women in two-piece suits, dresses, tights and heels: you know what I’m talking about.
Although there is nothing wrong with that, I thought I’d take a spin on this classic professional look and give it an anno 2016 modern feeling. Curious yet? Let’s have a look!

First of all let me start with the shoes, because brogues are totally back! And as a girl living on sneakers that’s not such a bad thing 😉 For me this is the perfect alternative to match a professional look. These beauties I got from Nelson Schoenen‘s online webshop (I’ll introduce you to them next time extensively in a new blogpost) and are from the brand Gabor.

Nothing wrong with matching a statement clutch to your outfit, life isn’t meant to be boring 😉
And to be honest, when you’re going in to meetings all day you don’t need to drag along your big bag all day.
An Iphoria clutch to carry the essentials, check!

I added a hat, not because you can wear it in the office all day. But when you go out during your lunch break a hat can make sure your hair doesn’t get wet and messed up here in rainy Belgium. Or if you’re lucky and the sun is out, it protects your eyes 😉 win win! Found this one at Primark.

Now more about the clothes. I chose a black and white look because whatever year it is, black and white never go out of style. And it’s what you do with it, how you mix & match that makes an outfit powerful.
Wearing joggers to work is my new thing! Wait what… joggers?!
Oh yes, JOGGERS! These pants from Only have a more classic cut and look but have the feeling and comfort of a jogging pants. What’s not to love?

A classic white blouse from Costes and my all time favorite black blazer from Zara are a perfect match for this look.
And because of the non-traditional cut of this blazer: non centered, longer model with the look of rolled up sleeves, this is yet again a modern twist to a classic item.

Last but not least I would advise you: do not over accessorize! Nobody likes to sit next to a colleague who’s bracelets or earrings cling every time they move an inch. #sorrynotsorry
A watch on the other hand is the perfect basic accessory to wear at work and comes in handy to check if it’s almost lunchtime yet 😉 I got this Daniel Wellington beauty for my birthday, lucky me!

So there you have it, my office look! Do you like it? Would you wear this?
Let me know, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
And as from now: fingers crossed for me winning this Zalando award 😉

PS: special thanks to my blogger-bestie That girl with her blog for taking these pictures! ❤

Try-Out-Fit by SKM

in September I was invited to a new blogger-event at my favorite multi brand store SKM.
As you might know, since our last event there I started working at SKM occasionally to help people pick their very own new favorite outfit. But this September SKM came up with a new an innovative concept “Try-Out-Fit“.
Processed with VSCO with hb2 preset
But what does this mean? Well, you can go online to and get your online styling.
How does it work? You select your style, your favorite brands and fill in your sizes.
Once SKM receives your request one of the SKM Shop Assistants goes into the store and finds you 2 outfits per chosen style. These outfits will be waiting for you in store at the date and time of your choice. Of course the assistants are always there to help you if you need another size, or if you want to change something in your styling,… And you don’t have any purchase obligation! This service is free and you don’t have to buy anything if you don’t want to!
So they selected an outfit for me, similar to what I’m wearing in my pictures. I’m a blogger and I always want to do my own thing 😉 so I changed it a little bit, but to be honest it’s exactly the style they laid out for me.

I really love this casual outfit, it fits perfectly with this urban location at Strijp-S in Eindhoven.
What I’m wearing?
T shirt – Supertrash (SKM) | Blazer – Zara | Jeans – Vero Moda (SKM)
Bag- Even & Odd (Zalando) | Sneakers – Primark | Watch – Oozoo (Brandfield)

Special thanks to Jolien for taking these pictures!
Would you try out a concept like this?

dressed by Olive & Ellie part one: my blue denim dress

recently I discovered this amazing webshop called Olive & Ellie.
Not only their name sounds so cute, the clothes are amazing!
I had the honor to get to pick out a few items, and I love every piece ❤
Wasn’t easy to find a good day to shoot, thank you Belgium and your amazing weather…
And I’ve been sick, busy with work, my photographer Jason was busy,… not easy 🙂
But last Friday we finally found the time to go out and shoot 😉
Of course I have been wearing my items for a while now, and I’ve got a lot compliments!
In this post I’ll be highlighting one item in particular…

First stop: sipping coffee at the amazing Maurice Coffee & knits in my blue denim dress.
This is the Barcley Bax Dress, and you can find it here. I’ve been wanting a denim dress for a long time so I was so happy with this one. The light blue is so pretty and the fabric is amazing, you can feel it’s made of a high quality soft fabric so it’s very nice to wear. You can wear it casual of more chique, whatever you prefer. 😉
Ps: remember my post about Morning Maker at Maurice Coffee & knits?

Second stop: the streets of Antwerp city! So many beautiful places here in our amazing city, so we had to take a few pictures outside as well 😉 I love that I can wear this dress with sneakers! I combined it with my new Adidas Stan Smith limited edition sneakers and my favorite Clouds of Fashion fringe bag.
How cute is this dress? And how amazing are my new sneakers? ❤
Special thanks to my dear friend Jason for taking the pictures!
Next week I’ll be sharing part two of our shoot and a new Olive & Ellie outfit, make sure you visit their webshop!
