time for a weekly update! It’s been a very busy one, let’s have a look 😉
On Monday I had a meeting at Matuvu Fashion Agency with the lovely Ils. I got to make two outfits mixing and matching all the different brands in their showroom. These two mannequins are wearing my looks. What do you think? My favorite is the first one, the Milla Amsterdam skirt and jacket are a perfect combination with that Blake Seven t-shirt and Iphoria clutch. I would totally wear this outfit!
Thank you Matuvu Fashion Agency for this very cool Iphoria clutch, I love it! ❤
On Tuesday I went to the Mix & Mask event by Origins.
I honestly didn’t really knew the brand that well.
Now, I’m absolutely hooked! The Drink Up overnight mask is my all time favorite from now on! You can leave it on all night, and in the morning your skin is soft as a baby’s butt 😉 hihi
You can get Origins at Ici Paris XL.
On Wednesday I posted everything you need to know about the new Try-Out-Fit service by SKM.
Missed it? Click here.
Thursday was a busy but fun evening. First I went to the ProNails HQ to get to know the new ProNails LongWear Nail Polish collection. This nail polish lasts longer than any other nail polish you’ll ever try.
How do you like this dark army green? I love it!
Second stop on Thursday and my personal highlight of the week: the dinner in honor of the 60th birthday of Ava. We had a themed dinner in store, and had an amazing time! Can you guess which theme my table had? 😉
Another busy Fridaynight! First I celebrated the 165th birthday of Kiehl’s.
Last stop of the week: the book launch of this wonderful blogger-friend Yentl Keuppens.
I’m so proud of her, this book is definitely on top of my to read list and should be on yours as well!
Also happened on Friday: my blogpost about Eindhoven went live. Be sure to check it out!
On Saturday I scored this beautiful t-shirt at Mango. Do you recognize this heart? It’s almost the same as I’ve been using in my signature since forever and is in the my life on sneakers logo as well! 🙂
Last but for sure not least, the most important event of the week:
the celebration of my godchild Marie her 2nd birthday! I’m so proud of this beautiful little girl who’s developing her very own and amazing personality. I love her so! ❤
in September I was invited to a new blogger-event at my favorite multi brand store SKM.
As you might know, since our last event there I started working at SKM occasionally to help people pick their very own new favorite outfit. But this September SKM came up with a new an innovative concept “Try-Out-Fit“.
But what does this mean? Well, you can go online to www.skm.be/tryoutfit and get your online styling.
How does it work? You select your style, your favorite brands and fill in your sizes.
Once SKM receives your request one of the SKM Shop Assistants goes into the store and finds you 2 outfits per chosen style. These outfits will be waiting for you in store at the date and time of your choice. Of course the assistants are always there to help you if you need another size, or if you want to change something in your styling,… And you don’t have any purchase obligation! This service is free and you don’t have to buy anything if you don’t want to!
So they selected an outfit for me, similar to what I’m wearing in my pictures. I’m a blogger and I always want to do my own thing 😉 so I changed it a little bit, but to be honest it’s exactly the style they laid out for me.
I really love this casual outfit, it fits perfectly with this urban location at Strijp-S in Eindhoven.
What I’m wearing?
T shirt – Supertrash (SKM) | Blazer – Zara | Jeans – Vero Moda (SKM)
Bag- Even & Odd (Zalando) | Sneakers – Primark | Watch – Oozoo (Brandfield)
Special thanks to Jolien for taking these pictures!
Would you try out a concept like this?
Hi everyone, today I got an e-mail with the picture that will be used for the SKM Ambassador-campaign. This picture will be up in store on A3 size posters and will be labeled on the clothes I picked out together with a QR-code to my blog! How cool is that?! 😉 Want to read all about my new favorite clothes by SKM? Click here!
This week was really exciting!
I got the most original invitation by SKM for their “the favorite outfit of…” campaign.
A personalized clothing hanger, hello?! How cool is that!
So me and a small group of other bloggers were invited to visit SKM on Thursday for some late-night shopping.
SKM used to be known as a store for an older public, now they’re relaunching SKM as a store where everyone can find their new favorite clothes! They added brands like Scotch & Soda, Supertrash, Scee by Twin-Set, CKS, Liu Jo, Nikkie, Guess … and many more! The purpose of this evening was for us to find our new favorite clothes and to become the faces of this campagne. I must say this is quit the honor, don’t you agree?
So, here’s the outfit I chose:
Jeans jacket: Vero Moda | sweater: Maison Scotch (by Scotch & Soda) | Skirt: Scee by Twin-Set | the sneakers and necklace I brought myself and they’re from h&m and Primark.
The people of SKM were so friendly to let us choose 2 items to take home with us.
I chose the sweater and skirt since I already have almost the same jacket hanging in my closet.
